Toddler Program

two children playingLike a sponge, the mind of the young child easily and effortlessly absorbs every learning experience. Our young child uses equipment that foster gross motor development. He/she works with learning materials that enrich vocabulary, strengthen eye-hand coordination, build concentration and independence, and develop the mathematical mind, a mind that loves order and precision.

The Montessori directress observes each child to detect the child’s interests and sensitive periods. A sensitive period is a stage in a child’s life when he or she is intensely eager to acquire a specific skill and learns it easily.
